Also depends on lenght of cable from meter box, a 7.5KW/8KLW if its 6mm and like JJ says if there's a 10mm any you like, But another concideration with a big shower is to make sure they have the water pressure, I've seen showers fitted with 10mm pipeing before now and the modern big showers will keep cutting out because there's not enough water getting to it, smiley-sad029 rain

The bigger size 10mm is really chunky and it's quite a job to get the ruddy large cable into the small connectors on the shower whilst the smaller size goes in really easy.
Is this what you wanted to know?

I thought it might be more technical than harder to get it in the terminals!!!
There must be a way of telling?
I'll ask a spark

I would go into an old style electrical suppliers where you can still buy cable by the foot etc and have a nose at what the cable thicknesses etc look like and compare it to the cable on the shower (or message Flats he knows a little bit about lectrics)

I'll ask a spark Stuff like this comes with experience rocket , when you have seen a few you will know just by looking what size it is , another good way to check if your not sure is to get a small bit of 6mm and keep it in your toolbag and then you can use it to compare against the wires you see in the shower , if its thicker then you know its 10mm not 6mm.......
