Thread resurrection alert! I finally condescended to buying an easy tap splitter about 6 months ago. It's helped me out a few times, actually wouldn't be without it now  It’s never sailed me to this day |

Thread resurrection alert! I finally condescended to buying an easy tap splitter about 6 months ago. It's helped me out a few times, actually wouldn't be without it now  It’s never sailed me to this day I still go in with the hope of getting the cart out with a ratchet and deep socket cos the tap splitter takes a couple of minutes to set up and then put away haha I remember the promo video for the tap splitter showing them using it to tighten the new cartridge up after removing the old one, I'd only use it to loosen them, never to tighten them though. |
