Toilets invented by wankers this made me laugh - same job a repair under a bath, look how the basin waste (on the right) connects into the bath waste I also like the bath leg supported on a piece wood the size of a matchstick Attachment Deleted

I've not come across one of those but that is shocking, a top end toilet and crazy soil connection idea - how do you test for leakage after a repair?
The bath instal was done by just a chancer looking at the visible errors and workmanship!

Yeah, it's like ripping an engine out of a car to get at the windscreen wipers!! A load of hassle for simple repairs.

These days everything in the cistern should be able to be replaced without removing it from the wall, also how much more would a cistern cost if they used brass or s/steel bolts and wingnuts.
