Looked at a job in a Church today 4 big rads to move position for alteration works and 2 space heaters to add and the pipework there is all in old iron, I'm thinking aim high and price myself out.  I've done these sort of jobs in the past and more often than not they're a pain in the arse. smiley-sad056 nay |

I did it in a polite sort of way, like Basil Fawlty did when looking for the light switch, there was defo a smile on her face as well.  |

my ole mate used to say, " think of a price you're happy to do it for, then triple that and put vat on, If they take it , it means your nearest rival has priced even higher" customers don't come to you cos they like you, they come to you cos they like your prices, When people ask, " do you know a good plumber" they actually mean, " do you know a plumber who does not charge a lot"  |

Submitted the estimate over the weekend I had left it hoping they'd find someone else. smiley-confused002asak2 My wife put on the estimate all materials to be paid for up front, they won't want that. |

Did a shed load of work in a convent just outside Luton years ago when I were just a lad. Really thought my luck was in until my boss dropped me of.
