A couple of those lads could've done with having their swimming goggles on hand!

Was funny. Didn't get the drilling one at the end though although drill didn't seem to be doing much. And as for the very last one what was he doing with that spade?

A long time ago I was working on government grant modernisation jobs and the then apprentice was tasked with digging out for a new water service. Apprentices being what they are he decided that he couldn't be bothered to dig deeper to get under the building footings and decided he would chop through the hard damp bricks in the footings instead. Chop chop chop chisel noise was soon to be followed by the dong dong dong ring of a chisel firmly embedded in the brickwork. "Can I borrow your chisel"? he asked. Chop chop chop followed by the dong dong dong ring of another stuck chisel soon followed. Next he's borrowed the brickies chisel and it's chop chop chop then dong dong dong of another chisel firmly stuck in the footings. "I want the van keys" he then asked "I'm going back to the yard for the jig a pick" ! You can no doubt guess the rest, the Brrrr Brrrr Brrr of the Jig a Pick was followed by BASTARD; FUCKING BASTARD; TWAT; FUCK, FUCK. FUCK!! We were all by now having hysterics of a fully wound up apprentice down an hole with 3 chisels and a Jig a Pick all firmly stuck solid in the footings wall!!
