Very true, although that said i was at on poolstock for half hour twice last week. Traffics fucked all over wigan. They have been on about building that bypass as long as ive lived here. And the ring road that never fully appeared.

I always find toolstation is more busy than plumbfix/Screwfix but they are a tad cheaper Where I am (Bracknell) the screwfix is always busy and Toolstation dead. I've come to realise that if you don't know what you're doing then buy from screwfix because their stuff is more likely to be trade mainstream but a lot of it is overpriced. In Toolstation, I reckon they sell a fair amount or crap like silverline etc but they also do sell a fair amount of decent stuff and at decent prices too which is why I reckon you need to know what you're doing to be a toolstation customer. |

While screwfix is handier for me I have tended to find toolstation do individual items where screwfix do them in 2s,5's or tens-which if you only need one you end up with loads of spares you might never use
