what method do you use to repair when you've drained it tom?
Sometimes you drain and it undoes like draytons, so I'll use hemp ( if I have it) imho hemp is better cos water expands it to seal, or ptfe , and as cinders says, it works,
then sometimes, it twists the coil and its non repairable and you're glad you warned the custard cos now its a new cylinder situation,
