Went to a shower swap today. Old one off new one on, easy

Mmmm....

Turned all gate valves off in the loft, ran hot water all stopped, seized stop cock in garage but turned off in Road & all ok.

Shower is on a pump, couldn’t trace where the cable went & couldn’t find anywhere to turn it off.

Do, undid cold side of shower, then hot, all ok then shower pump kicked in, hot water spraying everywhere!! I closed the cubicle door & did it back up. Soaking wet. Tried again slowly, no pump kicked in, took shower off, pump starts up, water is red hot!

Fuck this, ran hot taps in bathroom & no water coming out, pump stopped & I got the new shower on.

absolutely soaked.

Anyway it’s done & they want a new kitchen tap next week

The fixing look like they are threaded into the wall. More pics to come with the shroud moved forward.
