Is anyone experienced in tiling floors. I want to know how a tiler would finish to the door to meet another floor of carpet.
I asked my mate who’s a good tiler but he just tiles to the door & that’s it. There’s then a difference in height & it looks unfinished.

here's one I used in my house yes I know the carpets not to everyones taste, but Mrs Plum always has to have a bizzy carpet and becaise they're not common they cost a fuckin arm and leg,

You can get some wider ones to avoid the step between floors, bit like a small ramp instead of a step between floors. www.toolstation.com/wide-carpet-plate/p49955Had these in my mums house when her mobility was bad to avoid tripping points between rooms where laminate met carpet.

I use the sticky ones from carpet shop about £10 but look the best, finish half way under door.
