We were in an appartment hotel last Saturday in Liverpool and the bathroom had a saniflo which I knew about because I had an horrific experience last time, I was sat there 10 mins before checkout on Sunday morning and I tried flushing King Kongs finger round the u bend but the water came right up the pump kicked in but it wasn't going round and I had £150 deposit at risk so I got to work, my phone rang and it was Big Norman and his Saniflo had blocked and wouldn't pump I said fuck me I've just blocked one myself.
Got it shifted with hot water phew!

Years ago we hired a villa in Florida, instead of pictures on the wall there were little placards everywhere with warnings on them like if we block the waste or marked the wall or blocked the toilet or any other incident that the owners could think of might happen then we will be charged (they where most off putting). They say that we follow the USA by 10 years? Hot water is very good for blockages wetfinger I agree and that Big Norman phone call made me chuckle - Mr Sod at work again.

God those Saniplus jobbies are not cheap, £655 at screwfix but got one at Duftons for £468. I fitted it and said to big Norman it flushes but haven't properly tested it, he said "don't worry about that I'll fuckin test it, I've got two days worth of backed up shit"
