Nice work dafty, you truly are a very good diyer, few questions,1:did the new flush valve you use fit the cradle from the old one or did you change the job lot? 2: whats the black pipe coming of the old flush valve? 3:could you knot of cut hole bigger from existing button to accommodate new button? Thanks endfeed. To answer: 1/ Refitted all because I didn't know how compatible they were plus I had the new one so would rather throw the old one away than the new one. The down side was having to lower the cistern maybe 20mm and cutting the copper feed to suit. 2/ That's for the air tube. 3/ New button was slightly smaller so couldn't do that.
