What's the gas safe rule for installing the flue - level or with a back fall to the boiler to prevent water retention within the flue?

the modern flue should incline slightly upwards , giving backfall into the boiler, the water will run down the condensate drain,

Ideal Logic & clones, their flues are fitted level as there’s an internal run on the POC duct👍

All I know is that if flies are boxed in then you need to have inspection access if there are any joints.
That’s my input!

Arse! Thanks Cabin!, I've now got "another" job on the to do list! Is it critical the flue is angled? I made mine lovely and level....

the old type boilers,( non condensing ) needed a slight tilt forward, so that any rain that got in from a prevailing wind could run back out again, Then they made HE boilers they had to tilt backwards, or as Dick says, some have an inbuilt tilt, Its all rules and regs, if in doubt, level is good,

Thanks Tom! Sorry for the delay in replying, my computer died! Should've backed up all those favourites... At least I get to find them again, especially being off work now for a while with a knackered knee!
