FFS. Nearly a full box. Used to be a joy to use (compared to my last silverline crap). I'm determined to resort 'em as you can see but its a royal pain in the ar*se.

same here, I buy what I need and not what they want to sell me, those bargain buckets sound good value but, after a while you realise the size you need have all gone and you're left with all the too big or too little, screws or fittings, so in the long run, they are not economic,

And if you are as clumsy as me, one box is easy to clean up ! That said, I still like the "insurance" of having a choice of a few woodscrews for tasks I hadn't thought of.

The firm I work for is great, the boss is a time served Plumber. You can approach him, though he employs 70-80 guys & say these screws are shite etc. He’ll say, I know sorry, I bought them & we’re trying to use them up.
Other material we have to use as it’s Builders Spec & they get big rebates on them, like Polypipe for example, it’s complete shit!!💩💩

I have a screw box very similar to that I think it was a tenner for 1000 screws, same box is £20 now in poofix, bought it years ago and just top up the ones I need from boxes. I've chucked them over the floor a few times by picking it up when the lid's not fastened. Did it at the top of some open stairs once, they went everywhere. Pain in the arse picking them up, even worse sorting them back into the right sizes.

Something Silver but definitely not silverline. Turbo Silver sounds right - I'd need to check. And yes I'm one of the mugs who paid £20 for it !
