A lot of cheap taps today have plastic nuts, if you overtighten them, they split, Sometimes the the basin tap hole is uneven and you can't get the tap to be solid, this kit will sort it, Its a kit of washers for the basin surface and a brass nut that will make any tap wobbly free,

They're expensive though, I use a ploy washer and a reclaimed brass nut and charge full price for it.

I used them a lot when I did a brief period for local council day to day repairs, they were part of the van stock, so cost did not come in to it,
