I think if recall correctly;
With his huge ego, he thought he didn’t need to be a Gas Safe registered Plumber. Claiming he was ‘competent’ to carry out gas work & that’s all he needed, according to English Law.
So he ended up in Court & Gas Safe had their top dog inspectors check his work & working methods, They ripped the shit out of him & his work, the Judge said he wasn’t competent & needed training.
Gad Safe refused to register him & he paid all Legal Costs.
Prick!!

So I showed him my card to which he replied that doesn't prove anything and claimed the whole business of paying for cards to prove competence is currently being looked at by the government.
Then said something about a persons correct S-K-E-T-U-A actually proves competence
S = SKILLS K = KNOWLEDGE E = EXPERIENCE T = TRAINING U = UNDERSTANDING A = ATTITUDE (a good one of course).
How many gassafe knobheads have a good attitude???
