Is it the case to cut the board on the wall & pull it off removing the screws/nails?
Never done it but think I’m going to need to.

thats about right rocky, its a messy job because it wont come off in one piece you have to cut or smash it up, this is were having a lad or helper is an advantage,  |

Yeah, just me unfortunately. I’ll try to cut a line & break it clean then reboard with some cement board. I take it I need to tape corners & tape over joins.
It’s all good to do. Maybe I’ll start smashing the whole room apart, who knows!!
