Monument make good stuff GB, maybe take it back ? I use Irwin hilmor myself. I'd exchange it mate as if it ripples pipe it's useless.

If anyone's in the market for a new bender, I wouldn't buy the Hilmor as they're now Chinky made. Bend It Now used to make the benders in UK for Hilmor, but Hilmor stopped using them and had an inferior product made in China several years ago. Looks just like the original, but it's shite.

Bend It Now still make the original quality benders they used to supply to Hilmor.
