Hello Friends
My old mum has an old system boiler, works fine, no issues there.
There is a drip flue when boiler is on. It's not a new drip, been happening years.
Any thoughts as to why & how to fix it?
The ch pump speed has been changed but not fixed it.

is it a condencing boiler rocket ? cos it could just be the condensation and the flue is not pointing upwards to allow it to run back into the sump,

ha ha ha well its defo not condensating then, Servowarm made their own boilers back then the most common being the elite 50, It was a very good boiler and the fact that it is still going is testament to that fact, there is absolutly no reason why water should come out of the flue, I can only think that one of the pipes is leaking or the heat exchanger and its running into the flue which is not a good thing, It might be time for you to cut your teeth on a new boiler instaLL,  |

Tom, I'm sorry I've lied!!
Went there today, it's not the flue it's the over flow from the f&e tank
The water is well below the overflow but what it looks like from the inside of the tank is that the tank is filling up then going down.
I'll take a pic at the weekend.
Any thoughts?

its either the ballcock letting too much in, simple job just change ball valve, or the cylinder coil has a pinhole in and the water from the heating is mixing with the domestic and that means a new cylinder is needed,
to find out which, turn the water off to the little tank, fit an isolator if there is't any, if it carrys on over flowing, its the cylinder and given the age of the boiler, I'd go for fitting a combi boiler,
If isolating stops the drip, its just a new ballvalve needed,
