thanks for the feedback,Im glad to hear there is cheaper alternatives - of course plumberparts is full of enthusiasim for this (nothing to do with the commission Im sure) but regards the leak detecting gizmo which is obviously not cheap,it seems to work by having 2 probes underneath so it only needs a cm of water and shouldnt be submerged or deluged, so this must come with a crystal ball so that you know where the burst is going to happen

I think some of his videos are OK but he waffles quite a bit and likes the sound of his own voice. This surestop one is just an advert for surestop - simple as that. He'll get paid from surestop AND via the links his video attracts.
