Hi Everyone. What's the best way to fasten copper in chased walls I've been using saddle clips but can take ages just wondering if any other ways cheers Lee

I use plastic nail on clips, I've found them the best to hold in, sometimes I've took the nail out and screwed and plugged them if the surface is crumbly,

I'd like to now what the Regs are so the next time some jumped up construction manager demands that I bury pipework I can tell him or her otherwise. >.<

you need to use common sense a bit, you don't want to compromise the wall by weakening it, also the pipe needs to move for thermal movement, it also need to be insulated for noise whilst expanding/contracting, So there a lot of variants, wall construction, size of pipes, material of pipes, for instance, you could not chase in 1/2 inch iron pipes in a breeze block wall, but you could chace 10mm copper ( protected) or plastic pipes,
