Anyone got any tips for doing a slight bend in a waste pipe with the torch? Not a 90, just a slight slope to fall over a joist. Don't really like notching joists!! Thanks in advance.

If it’s just a slight kick, then a hot air gun is best, Heat & rotate over an area of about 300mm. You’ll know when it’s ready to bend, it’ll feel soft. Fairly simple really👍👍

By chance I made a video of the art of putting a kick in a waste pipe a couple of years ago (it's probably a toms tip as well) I'll re-post it any way. A pictures worth a 1000 words (as they say)
