The metal back boxes in the wall, the lug where the screw goes in has snapped off!
The other lug strips the screw.
I can’t take the box out as it’s tiled in
Any fixes for these?
Cheers all

Never heard of those. What a great idea! Will it work for Rocky though?
A lug is missing on one side, I think this gadget needs a lug to work.
I removed a socket one time with the same problem and drilled a hole through the back box into the block wall, inserted wall plug and screwed in a long plasterboard screw. One of those black ones, looked shite but did the job, and if it's behind an appliance, nobody sees it.

Yeah, I don’t think it’ll work as one side has snapped off & this fix needs the edge of the box to be accessible. It isn’t!!

my solution would be, drill the back of the box, red plug it and use a long thin plaster screw to secure the face plate,

Haha! Glad you thought of the same solution, it does get you out of that hassle of wrecking tiles/plaster etc.
