..This son of a bitch blew off on me today at endfeed towers! Taking rads off to paint walls and boom! Fucking water all over the shop the endfeed fitting was pushed in about 3mm deep, that has held for 40 year as a guess

that's happened to me too, luckily it was an empty house, it would have been a differant story in a house with carpets and furniture, this would never happen with copper,

I'd say 40 year!!!!

aH i thought it was plastic but yea, I've seen unsoldered copper fittings hold under pressure for ages and not leaked until they get disturbed, the copper's not at fault, its the twat what fitted it,
