I've used them, in my world I go for, the best quality for the least amount of money, these are good, I've never had any complaints, not even from the Warden,(mrsplum) and I told here they cost £20 quid each,, So keep it quiet ,

Yes, fitted one recently for my tightwad brother to replace a leaker ("she's a leaker" as Steve Lav would say). Seemed ok, no problems. Not sure how accurate it will be controlling temp as it hasn't been through a winter heating season yet.
If it was for me, I would go for something better with a brand name. The Draytons TRV4s look nice, but are too steep. Always go for the Danfoss RAS-C2 at around the £14 mark.

Was given one to fit last week and to replace a TRV4 - other than it looked bigger and not plush it worked well.
The TRV4 head failed, headplastic had gone brittle after fifteen years.

Did a loft conversion at home about 20 years ago, put a radiator in it last summer because the daughter's in that room now and shes soft Got one of the ''buy a rad get a free TRV'' rads from screwfix, the TRV has been fine and it looks exactly the same as yours. Attachment Deleted

I fitted one SF radiator & I think the free TRV was a Drayton?? Fairly good quality anyway.
I’m pissed off with cheap radiator, I think I’ll only fit Stelrad in the future. Cheap rads are always damaged & a PITA!!

Cheap rads are always damaged & a PITA!! I'm also pissed off with 2 rads I bought last year. They look nice and are sold as "designer" etc but not hugely expensive off amazon but the bastards just don't have the same flow as the previous ones. Either that or its the manual valves that come with them. Would you're money be on the no-name valves or the no-name rads? Anyway, last time I buy a rad or a valve without knowing if its any good.

Dafty, I've fitted designer rads which, the clent has bought, they were the ' old school cast iron' lookalike' rads and, they paid £300 each, I told them i could bet a doubled panel rad to give a bigger output for £75 each, they said no, I fitted their designer rads and they bleated like lambs about how, they don't give the same heat as the others i'd fitted, they listen to smooth talking salesmen but, not to the plumber, I'd covered my arse by giving a written quote saying,
" I cannot guarantee the temps in the rooms with rads provided by others "
check mate,

And the old cast iron versions must have been a nightmare to paint when decorating.
