I agree, perhaps a little out of favour with the younger generation of plumbers but I wouldn't be without my two pairs of footies in my box.
I noticed that you've lost the footprint bolt which is a common thing to do, however, has that new bolt been lifted from an expansion vessel?

footies are the KING tool , when ever you're stuggling with something, they always sort it for you, I had to hold a spreader on a urinal today whilst tightening up the back, grips wasn't having non of it,got the footys on it and it was like a Pitbull with lock jaw👍👍👍👍HAIL TO THE FOOTYS! |

Haven't got any footys. Last time I used them was at college mainly when we were doing LCS pipe fitting. Swore that college was the last time I would do pipe fitting as didn't like it and possibly associated footys with LCS. May have to take a look at them again and poss get a pair.

Footies are great & Ive several pairs, even bought a second hand 6” set from eBay, as they can simply get into places no other grips can get into!!
However, Footprint no longer make them.
But honestly, my Knipex Corbra 250’s are the first tool out my Tool Bag. They are without question the best grips I’ve ever owned.
Their whole range of Pump Pliers etc are the Dogs Bollox!
