Hi Guy's went to see this toilet Today which is Misbehaving I need to separate the main body from the mating cradle but for the life of me could not get it to part from the cradle .......it just twists click click click !!! i tried to snap it out as some do that but no luck .......No little pegs or luggs to press in to release WTF !!! any ideas please guy's all I can see is me having to do is to remove the cistern then remove the whole thing then work it out how to part.... I cannot even I.D. the valve as no markings ......Please see attached photo's Thanks for any advise on how to do this as all I need to do is split the valve and then hopefully change the rubber diaphragm ....... I can’t see the bottom but I think it should definitely twist off.
Any pics of the bottom.
If not, take the cistern off of the pan & fit a new one.
Then get home for tea & medals.

I agree with rocky, twist and pull, sometimes they can be non compliant so get heavy handed and kick its ass, worst case senerio is to strip the cistern, thats plumbing for you, its not all a 10 minute job, as most callers will have you believe,

They have these Flush Valves in Roca Sanitary Ware - which I’m currently fitting. I’m sure you rotate it to a certain point & then you can lift it up. I’ll have a look on Monday & confirm young man👍👍👍

All custards will tell you it’s only a 5 min job!

Very interesting Guy's
1) it is fitted inside a Roco toilet
2) It does look like the picture Endfeed put up
But I have tried just turn it and lift away ,,,,,it just clicks as you rotate .......tried to one click and lift away tried every click no luck
very frustrating as I thought I had seen every flush valve out there obviously not Grrrrrrrrrrr !!!
Hopefully Dick can come back with the Final Answer and photo's if possible Many Thanks Guy's .........................

The one's I've come across have always parted inside the cistern maybe it's just stuborn. You could flush it with the water off and then fill it with hot water from a bucket to see if the h/w will loosen it up? It'll be a good job when we leave the EU and send them all their fancy flush valves back and return to the good old British Bog Syphon!

I finally got a chance to clarify this for you mate. This is the correct orientation to remove the flush valve from the clips, rotate it to this position & it just lifts off.👍👍 Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted
