Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted.I need to drain the secondary hot water on this Andrews cylinder. I believe it's gas fired underneath. Does anyone know the process for draining the secondary h/w? Am I allowed to drain it down as I'm not gas Safe?

yes mate, you can drain it and work on the wet side without being gassafe, just turn off the elecrtics to stop the boiler kicking in,  |

Thats right endfeed, there may also be gatevalve on the hot water draw off side you can turn off too, because the cylinder will be under pressure from a diaphram inside, Don't worry if there is't, just do as you say, water off and tun taps till it runs dry, then off you go,

Had a job to replace lead pipe couple of weeks ago from stop tap inside front door to back of house, running in void under floor. Cashed it in with other scrap last Fri - plenty of ale money for the bank hols.  |
