I saved 3 siphon changes for my last job today all in same toilet block, high level cisterns so I thought piece of piss and will be able to skive in van for last half hour. Well fuck me, late finish for me! Could I stop the cistern leaking on the nut underneath, tried washer after washer, I was there fookin ages! Then I clocked what the problem was! The cistern's hole for the siphon was more egg shaped than round! I ended up putting shit loads of plumbers mate around the siphon and happy days sorted! Some days your the statue and some days your the pigeon (as tom would say) 😁😁😁😁

Might look into that battle. I bet that was the original, the building is the old Raleigh bike offices.

Is it just the shank/thread that's brass, or other parts?
