Hello all
Had a call about a urinal not emptying quick enough.
So, there's a blockage
Never dealt with one & I don't want to get covered in stale piss.
Any thoughts on how to fix it?
One shot?

not a job for the squeamish it won't smell pretty and defo not a pleasant job, Whether chemicals will work i don't know but usually the customer have already tried the easy options and when it doesnt work they want a mug plumber to sort it, Be prepared for a messy job but its one you can make good money at cos most plumbers will avoid it, 6XqEngr88r5GlWolCJDi

I did a similar job a while back , i had to cut out all the pipe leading to the stack as it was completely clogged with stale crystallized piss , this was caused by the auto flush cistern being switched off so there was no water washing the piss away...!!! it was a good earner but i and my van stunk of piss for days after and i had to soak the soles of my boots in Jeye's fluid over the weekend..........  |

I avoided it today but they've phoned me again
They said they'd put drain unblocker down it
He also said he thinks the flush might be releasing too much water
I said if it's blocked it's blocked.
Another issue is its not cash
I need to be paid via chq which demotivates me!!

Those modern waterless urinals will surely solidify the piss doubly quick without any water to dilute it I would have thought. Horrible smelly job though - I usually fill a couple of buckets with a disinfectant and hot water mix just to counteract the pong when I have to do omething like this. |
