Do intergrated electric ovens have a plug or are they wired into a spur or wired into the back of the oven?
Any thoughts?

The last two I've done (under guidance of mate mate who is a qualified spark) did not have plugs. I doubt any do as 13A plug would not be powerful enough. Both my ovens (different manufacturers) specified 4mm cable/flex to the outlet plate but you need to follow what your oven manufacturer says. JW suggests HO7 flex is a good choice (1M doesn't cost much). If you've got an electric or induction hob as well you might want to consider a dual outlet plate that screws on to a normal backbox (which should already be in place). Then you can connect one cable to your oven and one to your hob. My hobs have always come with the cable. www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/AA45DCOP.htmlThis is a good video to watch:

I fitted an integrated electric oven for a landlord I do jobs for, it came with a plug, I cut it off and wired it into a dedicated fused spur instead. I've not got part P only an electrical competence certificate from college that took 2 days so won't be insured for electrical work so made sure I was extra safe with the spur and made sure the CU was 17th edition. The flex was similar in size and appearance to a kettle flex.

All the Zanussi ones they fit in the Barrat boxes have a 13amp plug. They’re just single ovens with a grill.
