Hi all. Anyone else using freeze machines. I've brought this ro frost turbo 2 brought it cheap for £250 second hand and it's definitely made its own spot on the van ( but Jesus it's a heavy beast 40kg ) I use it quite alot wasn't very good at one point but got it re gassed and made a massive difference. Radiator valve changes in hotel and care homes no problems good for 2 port valves and even stopcocks when carnt turn the main tap of in the roads. made my money back on second job. And it's still going strong just a little review if anyone is thinking about getting one. It's best used with a bit of tissue around the head of the freeze aswell freezes 15mm in about 5 minutes buy the time I have ad a fag and a cuppa ready to go.

yeah this one is a decent one I did have a eco one alot smaller and lighter bit wasn't reliable a bit hit and miss with. But this one does save a lot of time specially when working on open vented systems and you know there a pain to get running again.

I bought a Rotten bugger Plumb Freeze Eco from eBay, repaired it & use it a lot. Simple Peltier technology, it’s the size of a Brief Case - very handy👍👍👍
Over the Winter, I may make my own machine, just for fits & giggles😎😎

Out of interest do the machines work if the water is flowing?

No, the water has to be still, running waters won't freeze, having said that, there are exemptions from the rule, If you can't stop the water, don't even try because, you will be the master of disaster
