Not ashamed to ask - what is the difference between clacker and pop-up? So I can avoid the pop-up in future...

Clacker you press the actual chrome plug down - one press it's closed, another press it's open. Pop up is usually cable operated and you turn a knob that also doubles as the overflow on the bath.
Pop up is poss least reliable as they soon refuse to drop down due to build up of soap scum, hair and smeg. Get a plug if you want an easy life and aren't ruled by a higher authority.

Now onto the serious business - of course we did look and even EXAMIN in detail but couldn't figure out why the star wasn't on the top of the tree so please explain why? |

Just reading that makes me want to win a 2 week family holiday in the sun......so I could stay at home and change a few things around here!!  |
