The flue is fitted but the self tapping screw to secure the flue isn’t long enough
I thought I’d cut the flue too short but th flue is definitely all the way down. I’ve poked something in the screw hole & it hits the flue.
Anyone had this issue?

Cheers all Did you pre drill it cause the flu may of just pushed back without pre drilling as the tappers need good resistance to self start.

Cheers all Did you pre drill it cause the flu may of just pushed back without pre drilling as the tappers need good resistance to self start. No. I’ll put a small hole in it first. I’ll report back tomorrow Cheers for that advice Possibly It may pay you to rotate the flu 180° so that you give yourself a nice new clean work area and apply gentle drill pressure for the tapper to be able to bite into the filmsy flu tube.
