Don't know about Wickes tiles, but don't use their paint and emulsion. It's shoite. Only thing I buy from Wickes are the rads as they're good quality for a good price with option of fitting one way up as round top or other way up with the grille kit. I'll be needing to get a rad soon for the kitchen - good tip there. I need to update my "daftys kitchen" thread at some point I think... I got my last rads from Williams. I beginning to use them for most things now. The staff in the slough branch are good friendly people & there’s no bollux with people standing there for ages going through the catalogue asking for advice as they do in screwfix. That really annoys me.

That really annoys me. Annoys me too and it is really frequent. Like how is a shop assistant going to know much? If he did, he'd make a living doing it instead of working in a shop.
