Any opinions on this please?
Central heating pipes in the wall, clipped, wrapped, bonded & plastered over.
Now, there’s a few hairline cracks appearing in their location.
Also, creaking hot water pipe. When taps up & down are turned on the hot pipes creaks. It’s clipped everywhere, over clipped.
The custard said it never happened before. They’re obviously going to say that.
It’s not life or death but the custards are nice people so I’ll try to help them if I can.
Cheers all

itrs quite common for heating pipes to cause cracks in plaster but that will not go any worse, so after a while, fill the cracks and repaint, over clipping can be as bad as not cliping at all, because the hot pipe will want to move, so trying to stop it, will cause the noise as the pipe forces its way through the clips, Its not worth your time to go back fixing it, just put it down to experience and tell them, thet wall must be damp and causing movement and baffle them with bullshit,,
