Has anyone had a lever valve malfunction after 2/3 months
I’ve got one, never had a problem with them before.
It’s a wras one too, not a cheap Chinese one.
Cheers all

No mate, what happened to yours? Won’t close 100% I’ve taken it off & taken the handle off. It closes with pliers on the brass bot but when the lever goes back on it won’t close. I’ve tried a new lever & also bending it a bit bit very strange. It worked when I put it on because I tested it & ive been back since & isolated with it too.

Wonder if a bit of debris got caught up in it? Had similar probs with older ones ,but in general have been a god send compared to a standard iso.

I’ve bought a replacement now but after I swap it out I’ll have a really good look. Really strange. I’ve had ballofix weep but never a lever which is why I like them. I’ll report back on this issue

being a tight wad as i am, I've never bought lever valves unless the custerd specified them and was willing to pay and that's seldom, The ones I did fit, I never has an issue,

Only had the odd old one fail - never a new one but like anything fit enough and you get a faulty one.

Lever valve, it’ll be shit on the seat/seal.
These cheap iso valve are a pile of shite, you can only turn them off once, they leak out the screw.

No, not yet they've all been 100%. N.B. At one firm that I worked for they had the maintenance on a complex that was all on district heating each property controlled by gate valves that would always pass. Every repair we did on them always meant getting burnt by red hot sludgy water at some stage , then they all got replaced with levers during a system upgrade and the result was no more burns for Tappy . Keep us updated though because I turn far more gate valves and stoptaps than levers so it could be a percentage thing.

Apparently it’s fixed itself
Customer said it’s not dripping anymore
Very strange goings on

As an old guy used to say, "it's just the newness wearing off!" Maybe the customer fiddled with it and bedded it in? Glad it's sorted!
