Has anyone fitted a stainless steel under mount sink to a quartz worktop?
How do the fit?
The quartz is 20mm thick
Cheers all

It was marble, nor quartz, same method though. You need to build a wooden enclosure that the sink snugly fits into. With wooden supports for the rim or lip at the back and sides. Leave a gap of about 3mm at the top, have a treated plywood base on it, a stainless sink may flex enough to let you lift the waste protrusion while you slide it in, if not cut a channel in the ply. Silicone under the rim of the sink from the outside (the back will need filling with silicone before you insert the sink), over the rim from the inside. Good quality, high modulus silicone. Once the sink's in you need to build the front support under the rim remembering that the screws you use on this bit will need to be accessible for future maintenance. I put a thin smear of silicone all over the wood I used to seal it.
