It was a nasty airlock years ago that knocked my confidence.
Nowadays I don’t worry so much. I take things easier.

Will give it a go tomorrow, battle 👍 .I think it's airlocked just before the pump. Going to dig a little deeper tomorrow, didn't have much time today👍 might blast bit of mains pressure down cold feed in storage tanks,bit worried about disturbing lime scale at bottom of cylinder though 😟😟😟 You know E/F that could well be all it needs on these big installations (leaving overnight). In June I had similar job and devised a plan of connecting a filling loop temporary into the installation, however, when I returned to do this the air lock had sorted itself out. |

I take things easier. .. update on air lock, the picture is a shower tmv, the cylinder hot feed goes to it and a cold feed from cwst, the out let goes to pump then off to showers. Anyroad, opened hot feed, with a view to blast mains pressure down it,but a bit of gurgling and hot water flowing like a good un!😎😎😎 |
