This week I've inundated with a huge amount of leaks that are no more than very bad condensation due to the present climate conditions (cold and wet). The problem I'm having is that some of these custards are very obstinate people and simply won't believe what you are telling them which then leads to arguments which I'm now getting fed up with.
You can't pretend to tighten something up because you will get a re-call on it the next day saying "it's still leaking" so you've no choice bot to confront the problem head on.
Any tips on trying to convince these daft custards (who all claim to be condensation experts) that they haven't got a leak?
Roll on the warmer weather - because I don't think I can cope with another week like this last one!

Not an easy one to win - my method is just to explain why the condensation is occurring and just collect the water at the point it's appeared at, if possible in a small dish (used but cleaned ready meal food dish) and you'll be able to watch it disappear as the conditions change. Then add there's plenty videos on YouTube and a link to this article dehumidifierreviewshq.co.uk/how-to-stop-bathroom-condensation/

Sorry to hear the customers are trying your patience, Tappy. Like most jobs with customer contact, the job is difficult enough but the customers make it much more difficult.
As for condensation, they have to either live with it or you can tell them that only other alternative is to plumb the bog into the hot water.

Easy, tell the Daft cunts that they need to leave their windows open all night & see if the condensation is back in the morning. Also say that you’ll know if they haven’t left them open👍👍👍
Simply put, if they’re under 40 they’ve had a very privileged upbringing. With constant Central Heating etc, they don’t know what condensation is.
Of course the Landlords are just as fucking stupid, they should be issuing the Tenants a Letter explaining what condensation is & it’s just seasonal.

That’s why you charge call out Don’t waste your time going to see these idiots if they don’t want to believe you for free. Charge call out & if they’re idiots don’t go back.

I can't believe it as well - we're in the middle of a lock-down and the stupid fuckers seemingly want to call you into their homes for an argument!
In one property I've even thought about swapping 6 metres of wet copper pipe for 6 meters of PEX barrier pipe - do you think a plastic surface will attract less moisture (be warmer) than a copper one?

You can see the finish line Tappy, You slowed down and started enjoying the last couple of miles, you see things you never noticed before because, you was dashing about like an headless chicken ticking off the done jobs then, racing to the next urgent job with your head down and arse in the air, Now you are plodding you see things in more detail and you've began to wonder, How long have I been taking this shit, you've looked up and seen the light, Praise be to Tappy, soon to be put on parole, Don't blow it now Tappy the jailer has the keys and he's letting you out soon,,,

Or tell them to heat the particular area up for a day and see if the "leak" disappears. Freezing cold bathroom + hot showers = leaking mirrors!
