This will be my next attempt, will get one next time I'm in poofix Love the fact that it has a 2'' and a 1 1/2'' cradle.

Agreed, never been keen on the pneumatic ones. A fluidmaster will fit, I think the cable will just reach, just need to cut a little notch in the cistern lid for the cable. But the flush pipe is 2 inch and fluidmasters are only 1.5 inch and it's my loo so can't charge myself extra for having to change the pipe So will be trying one of those posted by pb.

PB, any idea of the cable length on them? As usual poofix don't mention how long it is.

Well, I went to poofix and they don't stock the item, you have to buy it then wait to collect it, and poofix, poostation and B and poo don't stock a 2" push button flush with a cable longer than 300mm between them. So thought sod it. Got a fluidmaster and a new 1.5" flush pipe. Cistern out, old 2" flush pipe out, old flush off, new fluidmaster in, comes to cut the new flushpipe and the bend isn't sharp enough so it won't go in to the bottom of the flush spigot.... All old stuff back together and picking up a different flush pipe tomorrow. Glad this is my own loo, if this was for a customer they'd think I was only pretending I'm a plumber

You can afford the fuel and time with the amount you charge for digging a hole.

I dunno about that PB, he' wont pay that next time, any digging will be done by one of his lads at £7 per hour, it only took an old twat like me 30 mins to dig that hole but it pissed me off,
