Came with the Mira and looks/feels good quality but are you supposed to: a/ undo the nut a little but not so much that it falls off then insert pipe then tighten nut b/ just push the pipe in c/ push the pipe in and tighten nut d/ remove nut and fit like a compression with the washer/collars along the pipe, push pipe in and re-attach nut and washers/collars or e /none of the above Attachments:

auger bits look nice in that case but reality is they were cheap "stubbie bits" from ebay I think (could have been toolstation can't remember)
Cheers for the answers on how to use though.

Right I figured it out. In case there are other Daftys reading this here is a Dafty explanation:
The two nuts shouldn't be screwed off. Its one of those threads/nuts where there is stiff resistance as you screw it off. So you can unscrew, meet resistance, unscrew with more force and it will come off. Screwing on is just the opposite.
So, as has said above but not spelled out for us Daftys, what that means is you unscrew lightly until you meet resistance - the nuts might already be in that position when you pick it up. Then you push the pipe in and finally screw the nut up.
Dick, I know you find this kind of stuff fascinating but try to stay calm...

Dafty, some of your questions are taking the piss, things are so obvious!! Your long-winded drivel is such a yawn!!
See when you were a toddler, did you have one of toys where you put various shapes blocks into holes of the same shape? I can just picture you sitting on your turd filled nappy, trying to get a square peg in a round hole!! Then, jumping up & writing 3 pages of A4 question of how you can achieve a satisfactory conclusion to your problem!!
