Hi Guy's can anyone tell me how to remove the actuator head on a PLumb center OWN BRAND ( CENTER } 3 way valve as I need a new one looked on internet looks like they are discontinued but have found 2 that are new that someone is selling as I just need to change the head but I don't know how to remove the head.............. View AttachmentLets wait for someone who knows but I have to say the metal part of that mv looks very similar (identical?) to the honeywell. Does the "plumb centre" plastic bit clip off easily ?

in my experiance astra , I've found 90% of the time, if you change the head only, before the guarrantee runs out, it needs another, this then means gong back and changing it again, So I found its better to change the whole valve and if you think about it, the head probably failed because the gubbins was gundged up and made it work harder, I've never done one of those so I don't know how to take them off,

I would swap the whole valve out Astra as sometimes the paddle goes very stiff and burns the synchro motor out. Toolstation do the corgi valve which is cheap and basically it's the Honeywell valve

Hi Guy's Many Many thanks BATTLE that's exactly what I was trying to find............. As for changing the whole valve that's what I usually do but these people are on hard time as the old man is fighting Cancer and money is a bit scarce ...........yesturday before i got there they had heating but no Hot water when I left them tonight I got Hot water working but no heating ,,,,,,,,but this is what they preferred but I just did not know how the head came off but now I do thanks to battle............. Will let the customer know what i have found out tomorrow to see which way they want to go Many thanks Guy's
