Hello So I went to another urinal job today Got there & a ballofix was spraying out, easy fix & easy money. Anyway, the cistern is filled by a pipe with some sort of valve in the end - see pic please My question is, the cistern was being filled & then releasing into the bowl every 2/3 minutes Can this be changed to every 5/10 minutes? I did turn the ballofix off a bit to slow the flow.

that black thing is a flow restrictor you can slow the flow or speed it up by turning the screw inside, the end cap screws off then inside is another screw which you can slow the flow or speed it up, But turning the ball o fix valve is just the same, but will have the same affect, the slower the water going in the longer between flushes, There should also be a 'cistamizer' on there, that is a devise that sences when the building is empty by the pressure of water, when the pressure is high, It knows no ones is about and it closes the water off to the urianal,  |
