google is king but expensive, Local rags,shop windows boards in handymans shops,
get some pens made and leave them everywhere I do, If you leave a stack of cards they won't move in a month, leave a cup full of pens they'll go in 5 minutes, it will spread your name about,
100 pens with your name number and website £30,off ebay,

Yeah i agree with tom about business cards not getting picked up, i only hand mine out to people i meet who mention needing work done, the pens sound like a good idea and maybe a facebook business page with pics of the standard of your work etc
