gas hobs can be a right pain, you need to get your pipework well back into the wall and bring out at the very top of the oven, from the hob is usually a 1/2 inch male, so you need a 1/2 female iron then go to copper and reduce to 10mm, keep it tight to the top and back, don't forget your gas tap,  |

I think this subject is well worth a video, the pen pushing desk jockeys can learn you how to gas rate and test but not how to practically fit one in a working environment because they've never fitted one themselves, its no wonder people struggle with jobs like this, thanks jimbob for alerting me to this subject, |
