Hello friends My mum, 84 nearly, fell & broke her hip yesterday. Same last year. She lives in a 60's terraced council house - she owns it. The entrance hall has a cupboard with elec meter & the main soil stack goes into the ground here also. At the back of the hall is another cupboard that goes under stairs. I want to put in a ds toilet & the under stairs cupboard is the only place Getting the soil pipe to the original stack is the mission Any thoughts? Floors are concrete The main stack may be clay? Iron? It might be fragile. I think to dig a gulley & put in 4" soil pipe & then cut into main stack under floor level & connect with flexi adaptor? Any ideas? Cold feed easy from above. I saw the connection in the pic Thx, Rct

yea I can't fault it, its used regular, My intention was to put a proper drain in when i got time, I've just not got round to it yet, and if that baby keeps working i probably never will, At that price its cheaper to get a new massy than to do the digging and stuff, smiley-violent001 hammertime

This is the last digging I done to put in an outside toilet. View AttachmentYes plenty exercise for the person on the shovel digging that out. What I'm surprised at is they didn't want to take the gutter downpipe water away in with the soil, since it looks it's only going to run off on to the yard space, and I assume it's not dual drainage for that area?
