Interestingly, I’ve fitted that Orange Sprinkler System in Flats in the West End of Glasgow. It’s amazing stuff, made by the Yanks, all imperial sizes & glued joints.

Is it made out of some type of heat proof plastic Dick?
I would have thought a sprinkler system done in plastic is a bit of a no no?
In a fire it could save a lot of lives, yet at the same time it could cause a lot of damage if it ever went off by accident.
This SS was fitted in a 6 year old bungalow.

It’s gotta be fairly Fireproof. However, in ceilings etc, I’d think t would only need to resist high temperatures? Not difficult to install & they were charging big money for it!! |
