Never fitted that type but fitted similar. Now I’ve removed a few what have corroded through and leaked.
Now as for if there any use i never noticed any difference since we don’t suffer up here with the water supplied from Kielder Reservoir.

its a thing we don't have as well, our water is good ( mostly) so, I've fitted them only when the customer as asked , I would't recommend them in my area  |
