Hi all, My vertical soil pipe is currently waving around in th wind thanks to Eunice. I want to replace the broken brackets already on but the only ones I can find result in the soil pipe being about 33mm away from the wall. BUT the original and in place brackets are about 45mm away from the wall. Amy ideas would be welcome.........are all brackets standard distance away from the wall?

they are realy old skool endfeed, they go back to the days of before rawlplugs , the plumber had to rake out the cement between the bricks, then driving a wooded wedge in the gap and, then had to drive in a ' spout nail' www.cwberry.com/65mm-spout-nail-for-fixing-cast-iron-rainwater-pipe to fix the pipe, no scaffold or platform, It was all done from a ladder or bosmans chair long before health and safety

Me old gaffer from the 70s would tell me to make one out of soil-pipe using me hacksaw and blow lamp!
