To be honest endfeed, I would have walked if I knew the tees were compression , It was too late once I'd started then, I was 'johnny on the spot' and, one way or another I was going to Win, there is no retreat, That's plumbing for you, I was 5 nill down at half time but the final score was Plumber 6 - leak 5, ,,,,

A very versatile spanner it is,so glad it's come in again for you tom.
I'm really hoping that I can call it a day once retired. Plumbing is just one big struggle and people don't like to struggle and that's why we have plumbers! I'm getting really tired now of that "just out of reach leaking nut" or "that lift that's just a bit too heavy" or "laying on my back and getting an eyeful of debris as I stretch to take out that rusty old monoboc mixer.

One thing I found was, In my yoof I could kneel and work both hands and bend each way, side to side and front and back but, as the years went on, limitations on movement came, Now just getting on my knees needs, support from my arms, once on my knees I need to support myself with some solid surface, like a cupboard side or one arm, so getting two hands in a tight space means, lying on my stomach or back, the good bit is, experience kicks in with using tools, and working under sink in brail, That wrench is magic but, without experience it would be useless, I will learn to say NO, someday,

The adjustable basin wrench is an amazing tool, not used the Monument type for years!!
As I reach my mid 60’s & working on House Bashing full time, it’s hard on the body, but double knee pads, a good diet, not smoking & lots of exercise helps. Slinging boilers, hanging radiators, fitting bogs & Baths is hard work, but it keeps you fit 👍👍

It sure does Dick, not many site plumbers need a Gym to keep fit, Just loading the house from the Van/Lorry with the stuff 2 and three storeys is a days work in itself, Then you are running up and down, in and out for tools, fittings and stuff, You did well to be able to do that in your mid fifties, I think I was burned out at that age and did easier stuff, I found out I could eek a living finding private work, Bathrooms, boiler changes and maintenance, I left the spear head end to the young un's,
